Rockland Land & Sea Package

Come to Maine and discover the lure of the land and sea this year.  Combine a three- to six-trip on a traditional Maine windjammer with a stay at your choice of Historic Inns of Rockland.  You’ll experience the very best of land and sea with this special package from the Maine Windjammers and the Historic Inns of Rockland.

First, choose your windjammer trip, then add on a stay afterward at a choice of four premier historic inns, all walking distance from Rockland’s thriving downtown shops, museums, restaurants and waterfront.  The land portion of your trip can be fully customized to include spa treatments, golf, museum admissions, dinners and more.

The basic land portion of your package includes:

·         Two consecutive nights in a room with queen bed (stays must include 2 or more nights in a row)

·         Hot, hearty and gourmet breakfast each morning

·         An exclusive signed Land and Sea print, created by a windjammer captain

·         A Historic Inns of Rockland recyclable shopping bag.

This package is exclusively offered to Maine Windjammer Association passengers as a follow up to their cruise.  The cost of the package varies by room choice and inn, starting at $135 per person (double occupancy) or $270 single occupancy.  The package reflects a 10% discount on rooms for windjammer passengers, and will vary with inn choice, date and room choice.

Historic Inns of Rockland are happy to personalize the land portion of the package according to windjammer passengers’ interests.  These options can be added for an additional discounted cost if enough advance notice is offered. (Important note: to receive exclusive discounted ticket pricing and admissions, advance reservations must be made for these activities at the time of booking the package):

·         A round of golf at Samoset Resort Golf Course or Rockland Golf Club

·         Spa treatments ranging from manicures, pedicures, massages to a hot shower in a “green certified” spa as soon as you get off the boat.

·         Tickets to any of the local museums including Farnsworth Art Museum, Maine Lighthouse Museum, Owl’s Head Transportation Museum

·         A historic trolley ride on All Aboard Trolley

·         A morning or afternoon with Captain Jack’s Lobster Adventures, a working lobster boat and “edutaining” tour about lobstering on Penobscot Bay.

·         Lighthouse or Nature Cruise aboard the MS Monhegan.

·         Midcoast Winetasting  Trolley Tour

·         $50 in Midcoast money for use at restaurants throughout Rockland
